The Beer Mile Invitational is a spectator event in which runners from around the world compete to outrun and, more importantly, outdrink each other. The competition gets underway as the first athlete chugs a beer, presents the empty bottle or can upside down over their head, and sprints off on a quarter-mile lap around The Barlow’s easternmost block. The process is then repeated three more times as runners battle to swig and sprint! Just for perspective, the current world record stands at 4:34.35 held by Corey Bellemore of Canada.
Race Day begins with a start line beer toast, sponsored by Crooked Goat Brewing, before runners complete a scenic 6.2-mile loop course. The reward? - The Beer Mile Invitational and Beer & Music Festival at the Barlow!Register Now
