JetBlue Long Beach Marathon & Half Marathon

From The Beach to The Bay, the JetBlue Long Beach Marathon and the Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon offer amazing courses for you to conquer, complete with amazing views! The California Dreamin’ Challenge celebrates these two iconic Califonia cities. All runners who complete a full marathon or half marathon distance at the the Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon and the JetBlue Long Beach Marathon and consecutively will receive an additional medal and the 2nd qualifying event.
Runners must complete the Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon (either 1st or 2nd half) and the JetBlue Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon consecutively and in any order. Runners must have official finish times for both events.
Runners must register for both events with the same first name and last name, date of birth, and preferably email address to automatically be qualified.
Runners will pick up their commemorative medal upon completing the 2nd qualifying event.
When/Where Will I Receive My Medal?
The first qualifying event for the 2019 year is The Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon (July 28, 2019). All finishers of the 2019 Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon or Half Marathon that also complete the 2019 JetBlue Long Beach Marathon or Half Marathon will receive their medal at the 2019 JetBlue Long Beach Marathon (October 13, 2019).
You will be able to check your eligibility status for the California Dreamin’ Challenge after August 15th.
Race Day Instructions for Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon
There is nothing regarding the challenge that we be reflected on your bib at the Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon. After August 15th, you will be able to check your status by visiting this page.
Race Day Instructions for JetBlue Long Beach Marathon
Pick up your bib at the Race Expo and be sure to get it stamped with the California Dreamin’ logo stamp. Without the stamp, you will not be able to be pick up your medal after the race. If your bib is not stamped, please visit the “Loyalty” table at the Race Expo.
Medals will be available for pick-up at the Challenges tent at the Finish Line.
Medals must be picked up at the Finish Festival on race day and will not be mailed for any reason.
