Long Beach is a little bit of Los Angeles, a little bit of Orange County and we’re giving you a glimpse at this wonderful city, home to your Fall race.
Long Beach has its own story of equal parts grit and passion, and known to insiders as one of southern California’s most inclusive cities. Long Beach prides itself on acceptance of outsiders and the diverse city exudes openness and a friendly “all are welcome here” attitude, with no judgments on visitors backgrounds of life experiences.
This city is the backdrop for California’s freshest endurance sport must-do: the JetBlue Long Beach marathon & Half Marathon. A staple of the region’s running scene for 35 years, the race is as much a festival and reason to eat, drink, and party the SoCal way as it is a pathway to a (sweet) finisher medal and stories to share with friends back home. The JetBlue Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon delivers a scenic course with a big-city feel providing a refreshing vibe that makes registering feel like you’ve just found the perfect backroads “locals only” pub.
Come for the race, but stay for the vibe. It’s California Fresh. We’re giving you a glimpse of this wonderful city, home to your premier West Coast fall marathon.
