Cool Gear: Craft Thermal Multi Grip Glove

Warm hands are happy hands!

Craft Thermal Multi Grip Glove, $25

Just say “no” to cold hands.

As someone who always has cold hands, gloves are an essential component of my running ensemble for almost three seasons a year. I have light gloves, heavy gloves, ones that are windproof and waterproof and mittens with enough room for hand warmers on the coldest of days.

These from Craft are appealing for their sleek, non-bulky fit and breathability, meaning they’re even comfortable when gloves are borderline necessary. The palms and fingers have a silicone grip for a no-slip hold on frozen handrails and your phone, while the elastic grip at the wrists holds warm air in and easily tucks into jacket sleeves. Available in sizes XS-XL, this unisex glove also comes in black and black/fluorescent yellow.

Motiv Running senior editor Allison Pattillo writes about running, health, nutrition, gear and travel from her home in Colorado. When it comes to gear, she’s a fan of tall running socks, short running skirts and wearing her hat backwards. Even with a BQ and a few podium finishes (all triathlons should be run, bike, canoe!), Allison finds more inspiration from running in beautiful places and exploring on the run instead of the numbers on a stopwatch. She looks forward to the day when she finds her ultimate running dog, which, at this point, may be more bulldog than border collie.
