Cool Gear: Nathan Zipster

Carry your essentials in slim-fitting comfort with the Zipster

Nathan Zipster, $30

This belt is the carry-all solution for what you need to take with you on a run.

No, this is not a running girdle. Nor is it a fanny pack (well, maybe it is sort of a fanny pack). Stepping into this soft, stretchy, no-bounce waistbelt gives me four pockets to stash almost anything I need on a run, aside from hydration. In the unzipped, easy-to-access foldover pockets, I stash dog poop bags, trail fuel, and my phone. (It’s never fallen out, and I like the quick, no-zip access for quick snaps on the go). The zippered pockets are ideal for a car key, cash or credit card. It’s super comfortable and slim fitting—when I pull a shirt over it, it’s incognito.
