Much like fatty foods, carbs are a common healthy eating misconception. While the experts aren’t wrong to suggest less white bread in your diet, the reality isn’t necessarily so black and white. Meaning, trying to eliminate carbs completely from your meal plan will ultimately harm your wellness attempts more than benefit them.
You may be surprised to find some healthy foods are in fact loaded with carbs. You may also be surprised to find this doesn’t mean you should avoid them. Though your first thought may be to shy away from any food with a lot of carbs, a little research will show your body depends on the nutritional value of natural carbohydrates.
