Transportation
It’s parade night too, so traffic will be busy in downtown Portland. Plan on carpooling to the run or take Tri Met or MAX Light Rail downtown. Schedules may change on this special evening. Call Tri Met at 503-238-RIDE or check their website for more information (trimet.org).
Weather and Water
Be prepared for warm summer evening weather. Due to the nature of being on the parade route, no water stations are available on-course. Most of the downtown route is in the shade of tall buildings as the sun sets behind Portland’s West Hills. Please bring your own full water bottle if you need personal hydration on the 5k course. Water will be available post-event at the finish line.
Results
The Toyota Starlight Run is a Fun Run, with no official results produced or published. There is an official clock at the start and finish line displaying the time from the official “horn” start of the event. Check your watches as you start and finish for your personal finish time.
