Want to make a difference for a deserving family this Thanksgiving? Participate in Project Self-Sufficiency’s 2017 Adopt-a-Family Thanksgiving program! We will match you with a family (or families) of a size you determine. You can donate food gift cards, create a basket of food items, or a combination of the two. The value of the basket or gift card should be based on the size of the family and what you are comfortable with financially. We recommend a value of approximately $100-200 per family. If you are unable to “adopt” a family but would still like to help, please consider donating gift cards or cash donations (which we will turn into gift cards). We ask that you deliver the items to the PSS office between November 13th-17th, 2017. We are located at the Senior Center at 18041 Goldenwest St in Huntington Beach, CA.
PSS hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
If you can’t drop off the items during those times, the Senior Center is open later. Please contact us for alternative arrangements.
Please note: Due to Project Self-Sufficiency’s policies and procedures, PSS families will not have direct contact with the donor. We appreciate your understanding.
