DROP OFF / BIKING
We have set aside A DROP OFF ONLY location at Huntington Dr. and Atlanta Ave.
For those of you who live closer and would like to bike to the event, we will have bike valet available. Please note: All bikes must be claimed by 10:00am on race day. The race organizers are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
10Miler runners should be parked no later than 6:00AM. The race will start at 6:30AM.
10K runners should be parked no later than 6:30AM. The race will start at 7:00AM.
5K runners should be parked no later than 7:00AM. The race will start at 7:30AM.
Please remember that this race will have thousands of participants, plus family and friends. There will be traffic. Please plan accordingly.
Please allow AMPLE time for you to be able to park and make your way to the Start Line.
FROM NORTH 405 – DRIVING SOUTH
Exit at Warner or Brookhurst toward the beach. Travel south on Brookhurst to the beach lot (recommended).
FROM NORTH PCH – DRIVING SOUTH
Turn left (inland) at Warner. Follow Warner all the way to either Newland or Magnolia. Turn south (toward the beach) and follow Magnolia all the way to PCH to the beach lot.
FROM SOUTH PCH – DRIVING NORTH
Turn left into the beach lot at Brookhurst, Newland, or Magnolia.
Event Cancellation + Transfer Policy
Entry fees are non-refundable.
We appreciate you, as our customer, and understand that sometimes you just can’t make the race. We have created a great policy that offers you several different options in the event you cannot attend on race day. (You may choose only one of the options below.)
Defer Your Entry: You may defer your entry to the 2020 event. Deferrals must be processed by the registration team and an administration fee of 50% of the cost of the following year’s registration cost will be charged in the event you defer. The deferral will expire after the 2020 event and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Deferral requests must be submitted by email request to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than September 8th, 2019.
Transfers: You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. However, bib transfers are allowed for an administration charge of $25 and must be processed through your ACTIVE MyEvents account no later than September 20th, 2019. If you transfer your bib, you will receive a refund (minus the $25 administration charge) once the new participant signs up. The new runner will need to pay the full entry fee at the time of the transfer. This process is in place to avoid any fraudulent sales of race numbers.
Log into your MyEvents.ACTIVE.com account and select “Transfer registration” to begin the process.
Purchase Event Insurance: Booking Protect offers Registration Protector, which provides insurance to runners in many emergency and injury situations. This must be purchased at the time of registration, and cannot be retroactively added. If an event occurs that is covered under their policy, you would need to file a claim to receive a full race refund.

:The race is out and back along PCH. There is so much to see from the Bolsa Chica Wetlands on the way out to waves crashing on the beach on the way back.
