Why Surf City 10

Beautiful beaches. Balmy sunshine. Gorgeous waves… Yep, it’s just another day in paradise for Surf City 10!

We don’t want to brag, but when you get to run along Huntington Beach’s stunning sand and surf, how can you not? This race makes it easy to forget that you’re breaking a sweat!

But spectacular views are hardly the only reason why thousands flock to Surf City 10 each year! We consider running just another word for having fun, and that’s exactly what you’ll experience when you race our courses.

Surf City 10 gives you the option to run five kilometers, 10 kilometers or 10 miles. You get to pick your distance, and each one follows an easy course—no hills!

Oh, did we mention the medals? Because they’re serious bling. No matter which course you choose, you get our fantastic hardware. We want our runners to enjoy themselves, which is why we also encourage your most awesome costume duds!

Whether you register for Surf City 10 as a family-friendly day at the beach or a training run for longer future races, we welcome all! So join us on October 14, 2018 for California’s Perfect 10!

“The weather was great for this race in addition to the ocean view! I loved the staggered starting times which enabled most everyone to finish around the same time. The shirts were really nice and the medal was cute AND useful!” @littlebvt from Moreno Valley, CA

:The race is out and back along PCH. There is so much to see from the Bolsa Chica Wetlands on the way out to waves crashing on the beach on the way back. I enjoyed the bands playing “Beach Themed” songs. And then there is the medal. I ran this race specifically to earn the Surf Board Bottle Opener Medal” @padgtnbear from Fullerton, CA
