CHECK BACK FOR 2019 TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE

TO START at Doukenie Winery (14727 Mountain Rd.)

 

o From the Westin Arlington Gateway: 5:05am ONLY

(Must have paid reservation)

 

o From Aloft Hotel at Dulles: 5:40am ONLY

Pickup is in front of Aloft Hotel | 22390 Flagstaff Plaza

 

o Hilton Garden Inn at Dulles: 5:40am ONLY

Pickup is in front of Aloft Hotel | 22390 Flagstaff Plaza

 

o From Lansdowne Resort (parking is available): Buses will run from Lansdowne to

the start line every 10-15 minutes between 5:20am and 6:10am

Pickup in front of hotel | 44050 Woodridge Parkway

 

o From Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites, Leesburg: 5:20am only!

Pick up is in front of the Hampton Inn | 117 Fort Evans Rd NE

 

o From Woodgrove High School and Mountain View Elementary:

5:30am to 6:20am every 10-15 minutes

Pick up is in front of the High School | 36811 Alder School Rd in Purcellville

 

NOTE: If LOT B is too wet or full, vehicles will be directed to Woodgrove HS. All festival

guests and spectators will also be required to park at Woodbridge HS. Shuttles will run

every 15 minutes to Doukenie from Woodbridge HS from 7:45am to Noon.

 

Note: Arrive early for first buses to avoid lines. We cannot guarantee seating on all

buses.

 

RETURNING BUSES FROM DOUKENIE WINERY Note: all buses depart from LOT B if

accessible – if not, then from Doukenie driveway or Grovers Mill Rd.)

 

o From Doukenie to the Westin Arlington Gateway: 11:30am ONLY

(Must have paid reservation)

 

o From Doukenie to Leesburg (Hampton Inn, Lansdowne): Buses depart every 15-

20 minutes from 10:00am to 12:10pm. (ask driver if you need drop at Hampton Inn)

 

o From Doukenie to Dulles (Aloft and Hilton Garden Inn): 11:00am, 11:30am

 

o From Doukenie to Woodgrove HS: 9:00am to Noon every 15-30 minutes

 

VIEWING

The best place to view the race is from Doukenie Winery at the start and finish. Food trucks will be

located at Doukenie early for spectators and the tasting room will be open. There is no driving on the

course during the race. It must be clear for runners and emergency vehicles. See the course map for

vehicle accessible spots via Berlin Turnpike (287) at Householder Rd (Mile 7.2) and Bodington Rd (Mile

8.3) to watch the race.
