On Sept. 30 in Park City, Utah, more than 820 hearty competitors took the challenge of the Red Bull 400—a grueling 400-meter near-vertical sprint up an Olympic ski jump. That’s 161 meters of vertical gain over a quarter mile race! Jared Shumate was the overall winner, reaching the top in 4:25. Megan Foley was the women’s winner in 5:24.
