We recently ran the Zion Traverse, a 48.5-mile route across Zion National Park near Springdale, Utah. It’s a bucket-list adventure for trail runners with good fitness and experience running on remote backcountry trails. It’s not quite as hard as running Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim across the Grand Canyon and back, but it’s no small task, either. Here’s a quick glimpse of the amazing terrain and scenery we encountered in our 11-hour, sunrise-to-sunset run.
